Senior Pastor
Rev. Iwy Patel-Yatri was appointed to Hicksville UMC by Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church on July 1, 2023.
Pastor Iwy graduated from the New York Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Master of Divinity degree. She also holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Fordham University, NY. Before entering ordained ministry, Pastor Iwy worked as a Coordinator of Pastoral Ministries for the Covenant House in New York. Through this work she concentrated on developing and implementing Pastoral programs for runaway and at-risk youth.
Pastor Iwy has been serving in ministry in various churches in the New York Annual Conference since 2004. Pastor Iwy is married to Pastor Enock Yatri and they have a son, A. Evan Yatri, who is currently in college.
